a very cold April and a very, very wet May, June has come and it is
green, green, green here at our BLESSED CREEK FARM on the high plains of
northeastern Colorado. Last week we took in chickens, turkeys,
and pigs for round one of processing; round two will be this fall and
will include beef, lamb, more poultry and pork.
are expecting our next litter of piglets in a month, and our jersey cow
is in milk having calved two weeks ago. Spring lambs have been weaned,
milk goats have been dried off for the year, and our hens are laying 5 dozen eggs a day!
are interested in consuming family farm raised meats that are
'pure', please consider trying some of our just processed chicken, pork, or turkey. No hormones, no chemicals, no graining to
'finish', and no bagged feed with additives like soy. All of
our livestock raised for meat eat only sprouts, grass on pasture, or grass hay. Green growing things make delicious and nutritious lean meat.
Many of our most satisfied meat customers have health issues which they
try to control naturally, just like we produce our meats.
